There have been clear stand-outs this year as far as the most fashionable girl’s dresses goes. As always there were dresses galore featured on the runways of New York’s fashion week, but how can you emulate runway looks in your everyday life? Not every girl can afford to have a closet full of designer clothes, and let’s face it some of the styling’s simply are not made for everyday wear. Here are some hot trends in the fashion world according to Glamour Magazine that you can incorporate into your wardrobe.
Formal gowns with draped necklines
How you can wear it: If you are like most average women in the country, you probably don’t have a need for an evening gown on a regular basis, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take direction form this look. Having a cotton or jersey-knit dress with the draped neckline in a shorter cut can still give you that severe look near your face without needed a gala to attend.
Belted white dresses
How you can wear it: It seems the designers are breaking all the rules this year because they are showing full-white outfits for fall, namely white dresses with little black cinched belts. Once your summer glow fades however, you may not feel comfortable sporting the little white dress so instead why not take another part of the trend? Adding a cinched waist to a dress or tunic can really accentuate all the right parts of your body.
Black and white prints
How you can wear it: If you saw the looks from the runway than you may be a bit apprehensive about mixing patterns even thought they are in the same hue. Rather than take this trend to an extreme, tone it down. Instead of printed tops and skirts together try one with a solid in the other. This will give you that pop of something special without overwhelming you with patterns. These are some of the most sought after girl’s dresses on the market.
Red
How you can wear it: This trend is hot, red-hot. It is bold and it will certainly make you stand out in a crowd. Before you go all scarlet however, try out a few statement pieces first (why not a red patent leather purse to go with your black and white print outfit?).
Bohemian print dresses
How you can wear it: Perhaps you are not ready to go all-out Gypsy on this one, and that’s okay. The runway looks always take the trend to the extreme. Try adding just one boho-print piece to your wardrobe like a patterned dress or top.
